Okay, I shitposted enough. Todays lesson is on why time travel to the past is currently impossible. It has to do primarily with two electrons being together in the same quantum state (place and time). As you learn in particle physics, all electrons are alike. Not just a little alike, perfectly identical. For being identical though, they dont like to be near each other. As a matter of fact, they repel each other so much that no more than one electron can be summoned in a single quantum state. Now take past time travel. You are traveling to a time when the universe is less temporally expanded than it currently is (its expansion is why the concept of time can even exist, remember that we are time traveling into the future at a fairly consistent rate of 1s/s). When you travel back in time, you occupy a space with the space from that time. And what happens when you go back, well you spatially and temporally explode as electrons collide. And in the present, your nothingness would cause matter to collapse in. Nothing happens except you die in your experiment or a black hole occurs. Past time travel is only possible if we learn to replace the temporal state youll be arriving in with the current one. And thats not a very feasible thing. And its why future humans are not interacting with us.
