Okay, I was given the # 7, from my friend Claudia McCants. Here are 7 things you may not know about me: #1) I was the second child born to my parents, Carolyn Hall and Ray Hall. There was a period of 8 years between my sister, Sherry Hall Lyles and I. I am very thankful that my parents did not give up on having kids. Because my AWESOMENESS was born. ;) #2) I was born at 24 and 9 lbs and some change - God Bless, my mom for carrying me those 9 months. She had to sleep in a lazyboy recliner the last month because I was so long and a big baby. I made it difficult for her to sleep. #3) My father gave me my name. He was in the hospital gift shop buying flowers for my mother when he saw that the gift shop attendant was named, Rhonda. My dad wanted me to carry on his initials like he was given his fathers initials and so on. So, I became an RJH. I know if they had a boy, his initials would have went to the baby boy, but being it took them so long to have me, Im blessed with carrying my dads initials. #4) When I was young a kid, I would SPAZ at everything. Even running water made, me nervous. Just ask my sister, Teresa Clough. ha ha! My mother would leave the bath water running in the tub and I would get paranoid that it was going to over flow and flood us out. #5) At the tender age of 2 years old, I went on my first great adventure. My mother was very protective, but I snuck out when she was not looking, crossed a ditch and let myself into a neighbors house where she was defrosting her refrigerator. I proceeded to feed myself and her dogs who did not harm me. They were happy to be eating the left out food with me. Parents even had to call the cops. This was not the only time that I disappeared. My sister said I use to do this when we went shopping. Now you know why they made those bungy chord leashes for kids. Yeah, it was because of kids like me who have those adventuresome spirits. #6) My favorite dessert of all time is my mothers homemade Banana Pudding - same recipe from the Nabisco box. Just taste better because mom makes it. #7) My second favorite dessert was my grandmothers watermelon preserves. Its a southern thing! Unfortunately, when my grandmother passed, so did her recipe, so weve all been searching for someone who still makes that preserve like she use too.
