Okay Im tired of all the talk about HIMYM so here is it: DEAL WITH IT PEOPLE! The show was NEVER about a perfect happy ending, what on earth led you to believe they were going to end it that way? SPOILERS! I thought it was perfection. Everyone got exactly what they always wanted in the end-at least for a while. Lily and Marshall got their family, and they both got to live their dream job. Barney got a baby girl-the only woman he will ever love more than himself. Robin got to travel the world and have the career she dreamed of (and the reason why she was in NY in the first place!) And Ted got his crazy romance, his kids, his house, and someone who was as crazy, goofy, and romantic as he was. Did he lose her, yes. But in losing her, he also got something else he always dreamed of: Robin. And Robin never had to have kids because they were grown up. She could love them where they were. Guess what… It was a show about real life, the good AND the bad and that is why we all loved it SO much! Perfect happy endings DONT exist. Life is messy and that is part of the beauty. HIMYM dragged us through really tough times with these characters. We felt for them, cried with them, and loved them through all of it. Did you really think after everything they were just going to give up and be like- Oh and happy ever after? I for one am glad they didnt. THAT I would have been disappointed in.
