Okay! In our series of equipment giveaways to celebrate science outreach and the people who do it... aside from all the great raffle prizes...... We have just awarded Mike Overacker and his Astronomy Mobile Outreach Vehicle (AMOV) a 20 inch iMac imaging system with ASTRO IIDC and a PGR Flea II color camera!! Now he can add this to his outreach and step it up a notch! Roger Kennedy was awarded a new Lunt Solar Systems LS102/Cak B1200 and White Light Wedge for his efforts plus a complete iMac 20 inch imaging system with PGR Grasshopper 2.0MP camera and ASTRO IIDC. Roger and kinda have done more outreach events than anyone on Earth in 2014 (almost 200) at their own expense and we at CBSAP support them fully! Kevin LeGore and Focus on Astronomy was also awarded a complete iMac 20 inch imaging system with Flea II color camera and ASTRO IIDC for his awesome West Coast outreach program. Rafael Colón Romano of the Dominican Republic also received a brand new Celestron CGEM mount for his efforts in the islands! We have given away $14,000 worth of solar equipment and outreach stuff including the $2000 Aerolite meteor, in the last week! thanks to the awesome support of our members, Lunt Solar Systems and Celestron in the 2015 fundraiser.
