Okay, Ive been negligent this week with the daily manna. (Im not as reliable as God is; sorry.) Lots of things went haywire this week ... including a big huge water problem in the main stairwell at church ... and can I just say that planning Holy Week services involves a *tremendous* amount of time, effort, and energy??? Anyway ... lets make up for some lost time. Lets start with: Wednesday morning manna: You are so beautiful, so lovely— my love, delightful one! (Song of Solomon 7:6 CEB) [That ones in honor of my beloved wife, and our delightful date Wednesday night!] Thursday morning manna: Who among you by worrying can add a single moment to your life? (Luke 12:25 CEB) [I think I needed someone to tell me that on Thursday.] Friday morning manna: Come to me, all you who are struggling hard and carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest. Put on my yoke, and learn from me. I’m gentle and humble. And you will find rest for yourselves. (Matthew 11:28-29 CEB) [I think I needed someone to remind me of that this week too!] Saturday morning manna: This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it!
