Okay, Ive been putting this off for over a week...I went to my podiatrist, who I dearly love, and trust with my life, for a check-up on November 24. I had an almost healed wound on the bottom of my left big toe, which resulted from a blister. We discussed it, and the fact that this was not the first time this has occurred. My left big toe is crooked from a previous surgery, so we finally decided that the best solution was to straighten it via surgery. YES, I said surgery. Ive worn two matching shoes for almost a year, but Ive been in an offload shoe since 11/24. Im scheduled for surgery next Thursday, 12/11, at Jewish South, and would like to ask all my FB friends to pray that things go well. I know your answered prayers are the reason that Ive been back in two shoes, walking with no assistance, for the past year, and I am confident that God will see me through this surgery as well. I had a rough 4 1/2 years, and pray that I will recover from this surgery in much less time. Thank you all in advance for your prayers.
