Okay Kayla Thompson, I accidentally liked what she wrote and she gave me the number 11. 11 Things About Me: 1. I am directionally challenged. But thats why Troy and my iPhone are perfect for me. 2. I hitchhiked in Spain when I was there for almost a full school year when I was 19. 3. I often make up my own words and phrases. For example, Cause the thing is... Palm trees are tall. or I wear my emotions on my face. 4. When I was little one of my favorite things to do was make beds. To this day Im pretty sure I was the only child ever who had this passion. 5. I hate the tiny hole punch circles. They get everywhere or if your friend knows you hate them and dumps them on the floor or in your bag, you/I might just go crazy. 6. My favorite memories growing up involve camping at the lake with good friends, learning how to solemn ski, house boating, exploring, playing card games, and riding jet skis. 7. I learned how to swim at an early age, maybe the summer I turned 2. Then growing up I was on a swim team for several summers. I mostly remember having slimy green hair from the chlorine. I also loved that my grandma took me on the days my mom worked and we would get to pick out any candy or popsicle we wanted afterwards. 8. I was actually sad when I had to buy a new car because of all the bonding I had done with my Little Blue Engine That Could. My parents bought me my 1998 Honda civic when I turned 16 and we had just moved to Sacramento. We got it with a salvage title but it truly was/is the engine that could (its still going just not with me). The only bad part was when I got it I didnt know how to drive a 5 speed car. So one weekend I had two friends visiting and I took them out for a spin. I dont think Ive ever laughed that much driving as we did that day. Lets just say I stalled at every stop light and stop sign, and we got lots of honks. The rule was, stall once, then youre going to stall twice. Luckily I have perfected it and purposely got my new car with manual transmission. 9. I still am blessed to have all four of my grandparents, plus Troys three grandparents. 10. I play the piano and the flute. I also love to sing. I somehow have the ability to memorize most songs on the radio even if I dont like the song, including all the instruments and sound effects. I learned in grad school that not everyone does that. : ) 11. I cant whisper. People who dont know me very well would say I was quiet and shy. Ask anyone Im close to and they would say I often talk too much, adding way too many details, and talking loudly. I think maybe I hold it in during new situations around people I dont know that I practically burst when Im around someone that knows me. Although, I think my job has definitely taught me how to get out of my shell a little.
