Okay, People, I say this out of love: Stop talking about Hobby Lobby. Youre basically empowering a crappy, hypocritical business, which gives them power (watch as some talk about boycotts, others will rally for them and we get the next incarnation of Chik-Fil-A). Besides, they arent the problem. They are a symptom, sure, but to act like defeating them fixes things or even evens things out is myopic. Talk about the real issues. Like, for instance, how Corporations have become people under the current Supreme Court, whereas people themselves have become something far less. Talk about the fact that the decision has opened up a whole world of my religious rights supercede Federal law, and your rights, and pretty much anything. Or talk about the biggest thing, which could sidestep all of this (and was actually semi-mentioned by one of the Justices who made the ruling), and that is WERE STILL DEALING WITH PRIVATIZED INSURANCE IN THE FIRST PLACE. If the workplace had nothing to do with it, what they thought wouldnt matter. Hobby Lobby is a funny wording thats meant to distract us all from whats really important. It will lose meaning eventually, and well come up with a real term, like how Global Warning shouldve been called Climate Change all along. People will duck behind this company to confuse the argument. Dont let them. Cut this off now.
