Okay! This is the last sunday in the month and the year. Are you going to church to thank God for his bountiful blessings towards you? Not because you have to or someone is asking you to go but because you have a grateful heart. That red light that you were at and was just about to take off when some nut came barreling through and it was green on your side; The new house or car or job you got and you had been without for ages!; Your family that made it thus far without major illness or loss of family member; The Christmas you just experienced and was able to see your children and grandkids have a wonderful time as you reflected on how far you have come. As my Grandmother used to say,Child, dont you know that you aint made it this far on your own. Jesus been watching over you day and night. It would be a shame to let this sunday go by and you not darken the corner of a sanctuary and say much oblige. You have been better to me than I have even thought about being to myself. Now...dont go because I am suggesting that you go. If you dont know how good God has been and is to you, you would be better off staying at home. Or in the grocery store or at the beach or washing the car or clothes or playing SpadesPlus. But...if what I have said strikes a chord with you, get in a hurry!
