Okay Week 2 is same as week 1 schedule getting out there and getting used to the daily schedule(task in some of your minds) of running. Next weeks schedule is along the same lines, however, you will notice an increase in amount of hill sprints/striders, and the amount of mileage of the weekend. What our goal here is getting our bodies used to the everyday running so that when we hit week 3 and 4 we can start to increase the intensity on the hill day and to add more to our long days. Guys as pain staking as this long runs are, they are key to your successes...Just get out there with each other go for a fun run and do what you have to do to make it fun! Also remember try to keep a log so that I can train you accordingly when you come into the season. This not only helps me but helps you guys to see your progress to see what works best for you. Hope everyone had a great break, and Holiday season. Failing to prepare is preparing to fail John Wooden For those of you wanting to add a race or to into the mix to see how everything is working out, runningintheusa is a great website that has a lot of races over the winter/summer months that are either in MD or just few miles away in the Morgantown area.
