Okay, a health update - and thanks to everyone for their thoughts and comments (and yes, Evie, Im glad Im not a horse!) The shoulders are chronic bursitis. Will be going for ultrasounds and a double injection of cortisone. The hips are also chronic bursitis. After I recover from the first double cortisone injection, I get to do it all over again. The wrists look remarkably like carpal tunnel - going to a neurologist for nerve testing, after which will have to consider surgery. The knees are a write-off. You know its bad when the Doctor cringes as shes feeling the grating, crunching, mooshy horror which goes on when my knees move. Off to have x-rays, before referral to an orthopedic surgeon for a decision on what to do with them. In the meantime, Ive been place on a Chronic Pain Management Program, and have been referred to both physiotherapist and chiropractor and will be having scans to check all joints for arthritis which apparently is also a possible problem. All in all, it seems Steves plan for an 80 cent bullet could be not only a suitable solution to the problems, but also the cheaper option :P
