Okay after 5 years of traveling the world heres what I think right now: We have lost our way... we grew up in a world where we had a direct vision of right and wrong .. From the Revolution to the the first and second World Wars there was a distinct Good and an Evil... A sense that we would stand up for the Freedoms of the Common Man..but those days have vanished with better communication and the internet. More and more we live in a world that understands culture differences and the global populace is no longer isolated and ignorant. After the great wars the U.S. has had to invent monsters to remain relevant... the truth is America has lost its sense of direction... Without something or some boogie man to stand up against we dont know who we are, what we offer or how to create and be innovative anymore.. so we have torn ourselves apart with religious and moral issues until the next threat gives us a renewed sense of self consciousness... Its time to grow up and realize that we are but one country (a great one to be sure) among many... We led the way in establishing a Democracy by and for the people.. Now its time to acknowledge our contribution to world history and move forward with dignity to join the the rest world ...
