Okay, as much as I hate to post videos of myself playing... My old friend had asked me recently Do you remember that bass solo you used to do in YYZ? I had forgotten, that was over 20 years ago. This is not exactly like my original as I have no recording of it, but I remembered as best I could. Its NOT as crazy or fast either because I used to play on a much thinner neck. This bass here is a beast. I started doing this in my old band when my keyboard broke and all I had were bass pedals for a few months. (In the young and poor days). The end lick is a tribute to the La Villa bass solo an octave up (with 2 notes removed) I think Ill title it, When even YYZ is not enough notes! Im probably going to redo this, my fellow bass player extraordinaire Tim Starace suggested seeing my right hand a bit better, but for what its worth... Hope you enjoy.
