Okay creative friends.... I am restoring a doll house.. The first was trial and error (and an unfinished disaster lol) but this one is the real deal!!! All that is done so far is the sanding and 3 sides of the outside paint... Adam just taped off all the windows/ trim so I can get them painted a nice warm gray! Then I can do the last part of the white exterior and the outside will be done!! ANYWAY!! Here is where I need your help please... I want to do a back splash in the room that will be the kitchen... I have been going crazy trying to find the right material.. So far I have come up with these tiny mirrors that can be painted on the reverse that will look like glass tiles but they are a bit bigger than I want.. Any ideas of what I could use as small tiles? I thought of some beads/ rhinestones but cant find quite the right look.... As far as color scheme I am open to anything but I like neutrals and I would like to go with rust/ brown themes room... I am trying to avoid a trip to Bangor because every trip to Hobby Lobby is EXPENSIVE! lol too much good stuff... I have been to the fabric/ craft store in Waterville but didnt find what I need there.. Only thing i came across was the small mirrors that i would have to paint and again they are too large... Pics show the small size of the rooms.. i need REALLY SMALL SQUARES! Like mini chicklet gum size!
