Okay, everybody, Ive officially decided to move on down the runway of life and turn my lemons into lemonade by going Trick-Or-Treating this Halloween costumed as MISS ALABAMA AT LARGE with a big ole red plastic cup (a.k.a. CHIP) on the shoulder of my evening gown. What do you think? I should be the BELLE OF THE BALL ... or should that be QUEEN OF THE CUP? Bitter? Ohhh, a tad, but I learned long ago that humor is the best defense mechanism against bitterness. Besides, having had a rough week emotionally, The Holy Spirit put it all into perspective for me when SHE whispered to my heart, Honey, you take this pageant stuff way too seriously. I got more important things to handle in the world. So, THANK YOU, MISS NEW YORK, for the unintended inspiration! Lord knows I needed a costume idea this year anyway. Seriously, thanks to all whove been praying for me lately! It really DOES make a difference! Believe!
