Okay everyone...heres your chance to help. Every year, Medline sponsors a competition which allows hospitals to try to win $15,000 for a local cancer charity. As Medline is a maker of gloves used in the medical field, the contest is the Pink Glove Dance. Hospitals around the country make a short video to raise awareness of cancer. Then, people vote on the videos and the winning hospital gets the $15,000 donation to the local charity. The charity that Bellin has designated is Ribbon of Hope so every bit of that donation would stay here locally and help out all of our family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors. From the simple pleasures of riding a bike or playing catch with a football--to the adrenaline rushes of zooming down a zip line or racing down the tracks of Elvis Presleys favorite roller coaster, the Zippin Pippin. Bellin staffers, leaders, and physicians proudly donned pink gloves to show their support--as did members of our citys beloved Green Bay Packers. The video highlights the tremendous support within the community for those who are facing cancer to help them continue their courageous quest to become survivors who live life to the fullest.
