Okay experiment time...hearing all the hoopla on cake cooking in the sc compared to the oven. So Ive doubled the batch and put 1/2 in the sc ( banana and malteasers ) and half in the oven. Yes obviously it will cook quicker in the oven, but time to compare the texture and taste. Its a very personal choice on which way to go. But my way of thinking is it can cook happily away while your at swimming, dancing, footy lesson etc and whats the harm in getting the best use possible out of any piece of kitchen equipment we have purchased...so lets see how we go!!!!
