Okay, fellas! 2014 has been very eventful for the Ponderosa. I would like to start off by saying in 2013, I approached an officer to get a friend of mine in the club. His demands were completely unacceptable. So when I asked Jason Mails to join, I took matters in my own hands, made phone calls to see if I would have support. We made a post on a meet and greet, not realizing there was a protocol to follow. We were quickly educated on that matter, however it only delayed things. Then we had a second meet and greet successfully. From my understanding the president did not want to post anything regarding that matter. So I am posting now that we are looking at a vote in for 2 potential members during our annual meeting in November. I would also like to remind all members that priority #1 in this club are the paying members. Paying members are the only ones who should have keys to the property and access. Only paying members can hunt and take game off the property, exception of their children on the correct dates. That rule is set in STONE. Guests are allowed down at the house only after the first weekend and first week of firearm and muzzle-loading season. If I stand corrected in any of these matters, please feel free to leave a comment. October is upon us, and I do believe dues are due October 15th. I have posted these dates all summer so no one will get any late fees. If I have helped anyone from having to pay late fees, I will gladly take a $10 donation (LOL).
