Okay folks. I need to borrow your genius for a minute... A little backstory: So wild pony #1 has found her thing in FFA and has been elected her chapter secretary. She is totally head over heels with darn near everything about it and even doesnt mind dressing in Official Dress when required. That alone is a BIG deal (shes a bit of a fashionista). The only thing she loves more than FFA is singing + playing the guitar. At the end of October this year (in two months!) she has the opportunity to experience the confluence of her two big loves in the form of the FFA national convention in Nashville, TN...a place shes dreams of going to. She can hardly contain herself. The thing is, because she is the only girl in her chapter presidency, a female chaperone is required in order for her to be able to attend. Nashville, to her, is better than Paris or Rome or any exotic destination. (I mean, the Grand Ol Opry is on the itinerary!,) She invited me to be the chaperone and Im SO excited to share that experience with the her. Heres the rub...somehow we need to raise around $1400 per kid + chaperone. Each kid is working very hard to raise their own cash because none come from silver plate families. I want to help make this happen for these hard working kids and for my sweet girl and for me to be able to go so she can. What I need from you are ideas for big impact fundraising. We are under a major time crunch and dont have an FFA slush fund. So, shoot me your best ideas...anything and everything (except car washes and garage sales. Long story.) Hit me with your best shot!
