Okay folks, gather around and lets discuss global warming - commonly referred to in scientific circles as climate change. Climate changes is a lot like evolution, Newtons law of universal gravitation, plate tectonics and the oxygen theory of combustion; its science people, pure and simple. Climate change is not a religious, social, or political construct and therefore it is not a belief system. When it comes to climate change there is absolutely nothing to believe in or not to believe in. Like gravity, climate change couldnt give two hoots in hell whether you believe in it or not. Believing in climate change doesnt make it real and not believing wont make it go away. The earths climate is a direct result of a climate system, which has five components: atmosphere, hydrosphere, cryosphere, land surface, and biosphere. It is the temperature of the individual components of this system that is changing thereby bringing about a change in the earths climate.
