Okay, for the second time in two weeks, I have had to escort a mysogynistic a$$hole out of a public venue. This is not a skill set I had been working on, nor, frankly, one I had hoped to need. At first, the signs my be difficult to recognize, but as time goes by, the abuser will eventually let his guard down. Here are some signs to look for in an abuser. 1 Jealousy: The abuser will show unnecessary jealousy. He will monitor your daily activities, by asking you your whereabouts. He may search your personal belongings, such as your cellphone, emails, etc. 2 Possessive: He will get upset if you visit your family or friends. He will try to turn you against your family, by making you feel as if they hate you. 3 Blame it on love: If you complain about his behavior, he will try to cover it up by saying, that he is behaving this way because he loves you. 4 Cruelty to animals: An abuser doesnt like animals. He cant stand to be around your pets. Animals in his care may be neglected, abused or abandoned. 5 Blame game: Everything negative that happens in his life, he blames someone for it. He rarely wants to take responsibility for his actions. 6 Destructive behavior: An abuser will destroy your prized possessions. He will destroy your clothing, claiming that the clothing are inappropriate to wear. 7 Disrespect for women: An abuser will degrade other women in your presence. He will always talk negative or derogatory things about women. 8 Criticism: Your best will never be good enough for him.
