Okay friends that have had full knee relacement surgery. At what week did you feel like you were on the mend? I am 5 weeks post-op & I am still in as much pain as I was immediately post-op & even prior to surgery. They said that I would regain 85-99% of my mobility within 6-8 weeks but I can barely hobble around the house without a cane. My knee is still noticeably swollen & radiates heat. And my pain is severly limiting my ability to push through rehab. I should note that I stopped taking the narcotics as soon as possible (because of the side effects) & I am now just using Motrin (which doesnt seem to be enough). Is this normal or am I having a worse recovery than most?
