Okay....guy at McDonalds only gets one napkin....instead of giving him more, the manager makes some jackass remarks....causes mental anguish...BANG...$1.5 million being sought as damages. Kneejerk reaction....oh yeh, like that idiot women who sued because her coffee was hot when it spilled on her! Right...e on...thats what popped into your head!! Sadly the women was not an idiot and the coffee at 185 degrees was not just hot (130-140)...it was scalding and McDonald knew it because of hundreds of other complaints and did nothing about it prior to her scalding herself. So, sadly, now the urban legend is the idiot woman who didnt know coffee was hot, told millions of times since....and now I am sure with something like this, will be told millions of times more.....Now, hopefully, not by you. lectlaw/files/cur78.htm
