Okay, guys......heres my big post. Starting from here on out I am back to work. I work a pretty intense corporate job and work insane hours. I am lucky in that they are fairly flexible with me and I can spend time on personal crusades, but at the same time I have been promoted and will be required to take on more managerial responsibilities. So, why am I posting this here? Because I will have more limited time for FB and the cause. I cannot follow the minute-to-minute details, so I am relying on you guys to keep this civil, to grow this group and get the word out. If you see something that is uncivil or doesnt follow the rules, report the post or tag me in it. We welcome you and I will always be discrete and never disclose your name. Basically, what Im trying to say is that I need your help now to continue this on. I am not leaving you -- I will likely still be here every day or so, but I need to try and focus on the larger-picture items. I am relying on you guys to grow the cause and keep talking about it. I want the group to be at least 1000 members. We can do it. I want the signatures on the petition to be at least 1000 as well. I still commit to the promotional and marketing aspect of all this -- I commit, for instance, to writing up a press release when we have capacity and blasting it to journals, blogs, news-sites, etc... I may also consider making one of you guys a co-administrator if you are interested in the role. You have to have similar values to me: let anyone who seems legit join the group, not let things devolve into personal arguments (but not censor either) and be articulate, passionate and upbeat about our future.
