Okay....have done the MRI thing today and feel exhausted. A lovely doctor administered the lure and it was pretty uneventful when combined with the local anaesthetic I put on over an hour prior. No hit and misses...she made it so much less traumatic. In the very tight tunnel, I took myself to another place and it was over and done with so quickly. The kind Doctor in the MRI suite knew I had been waiting for 6 months to get this done and the anxiety attached to that. So she said that even though I have to see my Oncologist, to her the pelvic MRI looks fine...YIPEEEEEE YAHOOOOOOOOO! She hadnt seen the abdomenal MRI at that stage so couldnt comment. I suspect that wont be perfect, but I do expect to see some improvements. So prematurely, I am so delighted. I really can start planning a life ahead of me now.
