Thieves Household Cleaner – You might be wondering why this is on our list of must-haves. Well, did you know that it is ideal for cleaning out wounds? You can also disinfect buckets and bowls, crates, trailers, and stalls. Use it on fungal skin conditions, ringworm, bathing, yeast skin infections, mange, lice, scratches, and rain rot (on horses). Always dilute Thieves cleaner before using on your animal. See a reference guide (the Animal Desk Reference-ADR) for dilution amounts. Animal Scents Ointment – Again, another must-have for treating wounds or injuries for animals. You can use Animal Scents Ointment (ASO) to top dress a wound. Mix with essential oils making application easier in hard to reach areas of the animal and keeping the essential oils of choice in place. ASO speeds the healing of many wounds. ASO is a moist ointment. Once healing has begun to occur and you are at the point of wanting the wound to form a scab, discontinue using ASO as it is a very moist ointment and may prohibit normal drying and scab production. If ASO is ingested, it is perfectly safe!
