Okay, here it is - my Whipping Childhood Cancer pediatric cancer - TopicsExpress

Okay, here it is - my Whipping Childhood Cancer pediatric cancer pie in the face challenge! I was nominated by Jenny Mena Silviano to slap a pie in my face for pediatric cancer awareness. A little background - Jennys daughter KK was diagnosed with leukemia, and she has whipped cancers butt! KK is currently cancer free - she is in remission (since, to be a cancer survivor, you technically have to be cancer free for 5 consecutive years). Ill be donating to the The Sunshine Kids non-profit organization (sunshinekids.org), in honor of KK and all the other children who have either beated cancer or continue to fight it. There are many sites you can check out to learn more about childhood cancer in its all-too-many forms, including: cancer.gov/cancertopics/types/childhoodcancers kidshealth.org/parent/medical/cancer/cancer.html acco.org/ (this is the American Childhood Cancer Organizations official website) Ill also soon be posting links to prayer pages for various children with cancer that I have gotten to know, as September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month. Oh, and I am nominating, for the Whipping Childhood Cancer challenge, Samantha Little (my awesome camerawoman), Erika Roberts-Hughes (I love you, sis!) and Arthur Smith (I dont think Arthur is on Facebook, so I will tag his lovely wife and one of my best friends, Kelly Roberts Smith). I challenge YOU to do the pie in the face and learn more about pediatric cancer. Btw, I added the yellow food coloring because the color for childhood cancer awareness is gold (and they dont make gold food coloring, to the best of my knowledge). I know not everyone can donate, so I am not challenging you to do that (though if you want to, thats awesome!), but please spread awareness by posting links to childhood cancer awareness pages! And have FUN! #WhippingChildhoodCancer
