Okay, here it is. Many of my Baja friends have been waiting to hear about the Christmas surprise I pulled off. No video as I had wanted and no photos yet but....the surprise on my sister Deanies face I will always remember. With the help ol Cambria (she made the last minute affordable reservations to San Francisco from Los Cabos) and the secret my niece Madison kept from other family (she picked me up) it was a caper were proud of. It was in the lounge of Sanderlings Seascape Resort in Aptos (shown in photo) where it went down. Everyone was already there when we arrived. They were waiting to be seated in another part of the lobby. I went to the right of the fireplace (shown in photo) and waited for the perfect moment. When my sis mentioned my name I thought that was a good time to pop. It was beautiful! Food was fabulous, as well. I havent connected yet with my Sacramento family but will before I head back to Pescadero on January 7th. When I arrived in SF, it had been raining and the cold went through my body and settled. Dont know if I have allergies or a cold but my voice wont work. My sis and I are communicating via FB pm and a writing tablet. Since I have laryngitis and feel okay and its a beautiful crisp and sunny day, we decided it would be a good afternoon to take in a movie. We are going to see Wild .... had not heard of it but it sounds good. Im hoping to see some friends for a meal or drinks or wild party while here in Santa Cruz, California, so if youre reading this, write to me and lets set something up.
