Okay... here we have a group of guys who set out to try and DESTROY a Hi Point pistol. The model is a CF9mm I believe. First they torture the pistol... We basically done everything we could to try and deadline this gun. And he rattles off a list of abuse they handed out. Then, when that didnt kill the pistol, at the 1:00 minute mark they list 200+ rounds of every kind of ammunition you would probably wanna shoot through it. You will see a few cases where they need to forward assist the bolt, and a couple of misfeeds (of course, after running blue pills, red pills and multiple bore obstructions in testing it, you would expect some of that from almost any gun!) That didnt destroy it... there wasnt any catastrophic failure like blowing up in the guys hand or the slide blowing off it. Then they nuked the damned gun. Go to 8:30 of the video. They hammered casings into the bore, steel bolts were hammered into the bore, and more... and the gun STILL did not blow up or destruct other than breech blow back. What the hell could possibly be my point in posting this UNDOCTORED UNEDITED video? Because I want ANYONE to post a video or first-hand report, not a second-hand story, or something, of a Hi Point pistol catastrophically failing (Blowing up or coming apart during use). NOTE THIS!: By the way, I still havent been to the gun store to even look at the hi point pistol Im considering! Im going purely on what Im reading and FIRST-HAND accounts and actual videos to help me understand the HATE. This has been fun, I must say. Remember, theyre not comparing different guns against a hi point. Theyre not even demonstrating accuracy or claiming anything about superior function or feel. Theyre only trying to destroy the damned thing!
