Okay, heres the deal, Im leaving Facebook. By midnight on Sunday 9/11 (thats 9th November), Ill be gone. My plan isnt to delete my Facebook account, just to stop coming here. Ill leave my account open, and if I have anything major to announce, like the birth of a new book, I will be sure to come back here and let the world know. (Ill probably still use it to post things on a couple of buy swap sell pages as we have things we need to be rid of).. I ask that you all kindly no longer tag me in any of your posts, or invite me to like new pages. I have been thinking to leave Facebook for a while now, I find it sucks me in too much and I need to distance myself from it. There is a risk I guess, that my Facebook account will be deleted in my absence, and in such case I ask that those that would like to keep in touch with me, follow me also on my TSU account (https://tsu.co/mangodurian - I dont plan on using it really either, its just another way to keep in touch), or bookmark my blog (mangodurian.blogspot) and website (fruitnut.net - which is in bad need of repair and will one day, when I find time, be greatly simplified and fixed).. and possibly my youtube channel (https://youtube/user/mangowodzak) Ill announce anything new in all those places, or check out Kveta Martinecs page (https://facebook/profile.php?id=100001367552306&fref=ts).. I feel this is a healthy positive step for me moving away from Facebook, but am giving myself one week to say goodbye to everybody. Im hoping that by doing so, I will be able to break out of this rut I have been in during the past two months, finding myself with zero progress with my second book I so dearly wish to finish and push aside. I will say a final goodbye next Sunday. If anyone would like to become an administrator on the anti-speciesism page (https://facebook/antispecs?ref=bookmarks) and keep posting regular relevant issues, let me know.
