Okay, heres the results of my DIY efforts yesterday. You can see the weird alcove, and that shelving rack, with all the junk on it, is what was there. The cabinet is really an ikea dresser I varnished to look like the rest of the kitchen and with matching handles added. Tomorrow (hopefully) a guy is coming to install matching granite counter. If youre wondering, I did all the varnish myself, because Farm Boy Press kept insisting that he had work to do for some high paying stats clients, and asking me things like dont you want Forbidden Legacy in print? No, I want you to varnish this damned thing, but Ill go buy a bad ass mask and do it my damned self. I think hes starting to realize that now, when I say I want to do stuff only an act of god (as opposed to reasoning or bribery) will stop me.
