Okay, its bragging time for my mens soccer league. BAC played Silicon Valley this morning. I scored two goals and one assist, which was enough when we won 3-2. My first goal was made with my right foot from a corner kick at the right corner. I was at the 16-yard line on the right side and stuck a waist-high mid-air volley on the first touch from the corner. My strike went in the left side of the goal....My second goal was made from the opposite foot with my left. A crossed pass came in about the 20 yard line and I curled a shot past the goal keeper to my left side of the goal. Two beauties. For our third goal, my assist came with my header past and behind the sweeper, where our winger came in for an easy finish. All I can say is that I am very grateful that I am not in pain any more. My left Achilles problem took a full year to heal but has finally resolved. I have not had any pain for a month now. Happy Easter!
