Okay, its rant time. The sound on my computer cut out again, out of the blue. This happened about a week or so ago and I dont remember how we fixed it... it doesnt matter though, because its ridiculous that it should even need fixed again this soon. It literally worked up until I went to bed last night, and after not changing ANYTHING since then, the sound was dead when I got home from work. Im not looking for tips here, Im just freaking frustrated. This computer has been giving me the most random problems since shortly after I built it, and each time at pure random. Why would the soundcard/driver/configuration just suddenly deactivate itself in such a way that it appears to be working (according to Windows troubleshooting guide) but very clearly not? The damn machine is trolling me, and it doesnt help that I suck at troubleshooting.
