Okay ladies and gentlemen! Heres is my first video on trailer loading. The test-horse for todays exercise is Bella. Im starting with my most easiest horses for demonstration purposes, and working my way to the most difficult, which Im sure you all know by now is EzPz. Should be lots of fun. Id like to thank my good friend Mike Smith (Mistakenly named James Smith on the video) who decided to leave his house of boredom and capture video for me while working with Bella. Watch Bella rear up twice when I tried pulling her into the trailer (just trying to demonstrate the wrong method). This video is for instructional purposes. I know some have different ways of trailer loading, and sometimes they work, but sometimes they fail. Each horse is different, but youll find as I did through time, that theres one thing we they all have in common. Some horses are very difficult to load. The trick is to OBSERVE their body language which will help you determine the cause, and thus the right solution. Never guess the problem; OBSERVE the problem through looking at the horses body language. Be a herd leader. Be ASSERTIVE but NOT AGGRESSIVE...Pat Parelli Enjoy the video folks!
