Okay, looked all over the net and this seems as close as I can find to a full version of Eric Garner being killed by a gaggle of over weight , ill trained racist policemen ...and as we all know by now. There is to be no indictment ..notice how two officers begin to assault Mr. Garner then one by one they all join in. Mr. Garner is insisting that he did nothing wrong, is totally non threatening, even after he is attacked, he makes NO attempt to defend himself..after he goes down two officers casually stroll over to help hold down a by now passive man trying to say he couldnt breath. I counted 12 times he said he could not breath, he still was offering no resistance. This is a problem that wont be fixed until we do a better job of selecting and training police. To long ....and when I say too long I mean decades of allowing our police forces to develop a culture of being immune to justice themselves,Too long also we have allowed so many people who are psychologically unfit to patrol our streets be responsible for that all important first contact on the street. Yes the whole country is talking about indictments and how to avoid them or how to get them ...but I say before we get there we need to completely rework the way we choose who gets to call themselves officers of the law....We know Mr. Wilson in Ferguson was not proper cop material , and this tough guy cop in New York who choked Eric Garner for NO REASON other than showing how he could be a badass had no right to wear a badge....I have been attacked for no reason myself in three different cities for no reason by policemen and know that none of this is new..we began the Black Panther Party in 1966 for just these reasons... we were originally The Black Panther Party for Self Defense ..and would follow police cars around the community to monitor abuse and advise people of their rights ...all the other stuff came later. So yes we need to get better District Attorneys to prosecute this brutality .....but just like in 1966 the real problem is where the rubber meets the road ..the people who patrol our streets and the sense of decency too many of them dont have. https://youtube/watch?v=j1ka4oKu1jo
