Okay my long time friend Fran Pate Hampton or as I like to call her Franny challenged me and about 10 others to post our top 10 favorite books of all time and what we learned from reading them or what influence theyve been on our lives. So here goes. Not necessarily in order. 1 The Bible- which is my instruction book for life. Lesson learned-- God is always faithful, love conquers all, everyone has a Devine purpose and He equips us all and too many more to count 2 Epaminondus and his Auntie- dont take life to literal and plain ole common sense will take you far in life and it aint that common youll understand if you read the book lol. 3 Ill love you forever- true love never ends FYI if anyone has ever read that without crying Id like to know it. Just saying! 4 Gone with the Wind- that which doesnt kill us makes us stronger and The South Will Rise Again ok just kidding, but had to say that. 5 The Shack- God is seldom as we expect its all about our relationship with Him. 6 Agenda 21 by Glenn Beck- scariest book Ive ever read!!! You better wake up and pay attention its not all fiction. 7 The Bible Code by Michael Drosnin- Gods word is multi dimensional. Its truly Devine. 8 the princess bride- dont judge a book by its cover and never give up on your dreams. 9 the book thief- love,courage and tenacity overcome all. 10 Absolutely anything by Jane Austin but Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice my favs- always do the right thing even when no one knows the difference,treat others as youd like to be treated and dont be a snob!
