Okay, one of my former angelic students, Shae Bell, caught me with the number game, and she gave me the number, GASP, 12! 1. I always identify with the underdog. In fact, I will usually argue the side that goes against popular convention. I dont quite know what it is within me that makes me do that; perhaps it was my fathers influence, Bruce Durrence, who always made me consider the other side of an argument. 2. I do not like following the crowd and really do not like trends. I felt like a poser when I recently wore a chevron pattern. No offense to anyone who is digging that pattern now. Lol 3. I consider myself spiritual, not religious. Church attendance has never exactly been a priority, but treating people well has been more important even though I still fall short. 4. I absolutely love the band U2 and hope to meet Bono one day. :-) 5. I met my hubby when I was 9 and still have a letter he wrote to me back then. Its interesting how that letter survived 20+ years and 3 moves. 6. Out of high school, I planned to major in pre-law and then pursue law school. That plan fell through. I hope to one day attend law school and do pro bono work after I can draw retirement. (Still an idealist) 7. I have a large extended family, and though we disagree at times, I still love them all to pieces. 8. I was incredibly mischievous in school and got a paddling in the 11th grade for a sassy mouth. Ill never forget bending over that desk in that polyester skirt. AC/DCs, Thunder, comes to mind for some reason. Shudder. 9. I was Salutatorian of my small class of 14. I was always super conscientious about my grades. 10. I love text, both written and visual, books and movies. 11. If I could be anything I wanted in the world, it would be an actress. (I know its silly, but I really can see myself giving my acceptance speech at the Oscars. Lol.) 12. I have always considered myself fearless until I had children, and my secret fear has now become that I wont be around to see them grow. (Macabre, I know!) And, I just shared way too much! But, someone, PLEASE, like this so that I can read about all of your idiosyncrasies and interesting facts too!
