Okay people of Victoria, The State Government has finally shown the true use of the Radar, I was always told that the whole idea of the radar is to stop speeding. Not so with the new laws passed by the Liberal Government. The police now have the power to hide when out using the radar, at the bottom of hills, where one usually cant help exceeding speeding up a bit without riding the brake. Behind trees, in old cars left on the side of the road, after dark when raining right on the speed limit sign, And of course that famous camera hanging from the tree at Bell Bird. If you read the Victorian Police page they state that the radar is not a revenue raising operation it is solely there to reduce speed, I totally disagree, If it was there to reduce speed then they would be out there to be seen. I want to know if it is now legal to flash your head lights when you see the radar set up behind a car that is hidden behind a tree at the bottom of a steep hill. And also the thing that sticks in my throat is that these Politicians are always being chauffeured in Tax payers vehicles which we pay the fines for these drivers. In my next life Im going to be a pollie with all the perks
