As a weird creative person, it is one place you might actually feel popular. 2. You get to spend a weekend in one of the most beautiful areas of the USA. 3. You get to play hookey from work. 4. Theres a chance you could meet a jewelry maker, quilter, basketmaker, painter, potter, guitarist, singer, poet, author, dancer, flutist, keyboardist, photographer, cook, mixed media artist, makeup artist, fashion designer, loom weaver, and a drummer all in the same day. 5. Spending a whole long weekend playing with paint/ music/ fine crafts/ cameras/ fabric/ creative movement. 18. Seeing what other artists have created. 19. Listening to Pattie Ann Hale talk soothingly about such things as beauty and creativity and how leaves with holes in them are mysteriously beautiful. 20. Being a part of many artists connecting together and building community. 21. Talking to others who understand your unique way of thinking. 22. Getting support from people further along in their creative journey. 23. Investing in your creativity. 24. Being encouraged, equipped, prayed for. 25.
