Okay.....question for kids with Autism.........how in the world are you managing since they took away the Aspergers diagnosis....Jonathan has to undergo 5 hour testing AGAIN in October....to put him SOMEWHERE on the spectrum......and because of this.....HE IS NOT RECEIVING the right therapy.....therapy is done according to a plan....according to a DIAGNOSIS....as of now....Jonathan is "considered" on the spectrum. I find this VERY frustrating........I know the APA and therapists all over the world are crying foul at this.....but until something is done....what am I to do? Wake County Public Schools are starting their own testing soon with him because academically he is having issues with literacy..but soaring in math.....UGGGHHHHHH!!!!!! He has a really great teacher but needs an IEP......anyone with ANY advice could be appreciated......
