Okay … ready for more on my troubled heart? Why are people so angry? Im driving the speed limit just outside of Gainesville at 75 mph. A man passes me while Im passing another car. He turns around and shoots me the bird. I walk into Walmart and the first person I meet, I greet with a smile and she responds with the same. That was nice but with the second person, all I received was a stare … no … a glare as if I was bothering him with just being polite. I try to be conscious of at least being courteous and smiling. Dont make me more than I am … I said … I try … meaning Im not always this way. It has to do with having a focus on making as many good choices as possible while striving to be pleasant as well. Its not that hard and the rewards or return is much better than being unhappy or looking unhappy. Im amazed as to how many people get off feeling good about themselves while telling someone off. Even more so when they take great pride with their vocabulary of four letter words. Sure … we ALL get angry but telling someone off, cussing them out or threatening them is not the way to settle a dispute. I guess what troubles this heart most is that we are willing to accept this as being the norm today and choose to either tolerate it or walk away. Not really sure its a battle that anyone can win but to allow these things to continue will only encourage it to where things might even get worse or get somebody hurt. Yep … a troubled heart. I dont remember it being this bad when I was younger … or maybe … Im just old. Regardless … I dont like it … so my words of encouragement or advice … strive to be a good-finder … there are already too many bad-finders. SIAA!!
