Okay so Devils Head mountain. We hiked to the summit where there was a fire watch tower. Unlike any other mountain summit Ive seen Devils Head is a huge tall rock, 143 steep stairs lead to a platform on the top of the rock with waist high guard rails. In all directions you can see for at least 100 miles! Why called Devils head other than being up there was terrifying I dont know. There is a story of stolen gold hidden up there and people say theyve seen a ghost of a miner that died searching for it in the area around the summit.
