Okay so I am going to complain. It is about a commercial and I know that is kind of shallow but I am going to do it anyway. I hate the Degree Solutions commercial. It is ignorant to me that they show a classroom full of children and then parade their so called parents in there with degrees to show to career day and then say what will your child say if about you if you dont have a degree Well I have a degree and I think it is stupid. Really? Lots of people without degrees make way more money than people with degrees. It is an accomplishment but not a real measure of success. In this day and age where the ACLU jumps all over everyone for offending people for just trying to live, I cannot imagine why they havent complained that this commercial is offensive to good successful people who are creative business owners, people with vocational certifications, or stay at home parents who may or may not have a degree but choose to stay at home and raise their children. Now dont get me wrong, I would not agree with the ACLU if they filed a lawsuit. Like most everything they get involved in, it is none of their business. It is stupid and ignorant but the proper way to deal with things like that is just dont enroll in their program. Advertising fail, and they will change it. I wonder if this has ever occurred to the President? Natural consequences are effective, and worked for hundreds of years before Obama the Monarch became president and just started making laws to change things he didnt like. (Okay I know, I started with Degree Solutions, moved to the ACLU and then to the President) What can I say? It is late maybe I am rambling!!
