Okay, so I just looked in YouTube analytics for the first time since the Buzzfeed post. Over the last week, the first Hallelujah video got about 30k new views, #2 got almost 13k, and the third one 6k. Numbers 2 and 3 had almost no views before this week, but this brings the lifetime views total of the first one to 342,917. So thats pretty weird. Stranger and more terrifying, though: the videos I make to share on Ukulele Underground for the Seasons of the Ukulele weekly thing? The weekly thing Ive been participating in to help motivate the process of teaching myself to play the ukulele? Theyre up to *hundreds* of views. Ten of them are 300 views or above. And some of them are *pretty bad*, since Ive been, you know, teaching myself, like, from scratch, on the first instrument Ive ever tried to play ever that involved, like, chords and strumming and so forth. So, a little mortified about that! But then again, whatever.
