Okay so I know I was not there but I can tell you right now that from what I see on the camera this could have been prevented. Unless they have changed the rules since I was there inmates are NOT allowed to congregate ANYWHERE in ANY pod at 2 in the morning. As SOON as those inmates started gathering at around 3-4 minutes in the video there SHOULD have been an officer in there. My question is where was the floor officer? And another question I have is if the floor officer was not near then why didnt the tower officer call for an officer to come in and break that up. There is no audio but I can tell you that I watched the whole thing escalate when a couple inmates started pacing and shirts starting coming off 10+ minutes in. This just pisses me off. I still have to say thought that I am glad that they all made it out of that alive. That could have been devastating.
