Okay, so I want tlo start a coop restauran (preferably but not necessarily pizza) in Kansas City generally and specifically either in the Liberty, MO area or close to where I live now in Sugar Creek or nearby Independence. Sugar Creek would be ideal in some ways, especially if I could get in a location within walking distance and could thus forego the expense of a personal vehicle. Coop partners would have to be found and thats potentially more problematic than raising the outside investment capital. To clarify, Im looking at hybrid forms of coop where 60% or so might be reserved for worker ownership and 40% available for outside investors. The general vision, which I will articulate in more detail, is of an affordable little carryout & delivery pizza place (or comparable) with really great food that also promotes anarchism in small bites via its branding, serves as a ready source of employment and/or small informal money-making opportunities for the activists @Free Kansas City seeks to attract and, potentially, serve as a small event center (depending on size of dining room) for activist stuff and local bands.
