Okay.. so apparently the rumor mill is churning out some pure stupidity regarding the recent Red Bull Culture Clash - heres my input on it. Ive got love for all four crews that competed, but BassHead Music seriously came out every round and gave everything they had. Each round was its own unique knockout punch that was executed perfectly. Anyone who believes the competition was rigged in BassHeads favor clearly hasnt thoroughly thought things out - or wasnt there last Thursday. Slow Roast has a monthly residency at Grand Central for Slow Roast Thursdays at The Garret. Moombahton Massive also has a residency, theirs quarterly - also on Thursdays. Black Chiney/ Eccentrix Sound have weekly parties at the Garret on Tuesdays. How would it make sense for Red Bull & Grand Central to rig a competition in favor of the one crew they had nothing invested in?! Judgement was based on a decibel meter attached to a microphone on the opposite side of the venue from the BassHead stage, yet they still managed to get louder than any other crew. BassHead won because they simply went harder - because of Megalodon, Juan BassHead, Alex M, 69 Boyz, & Trick Daddy. Oh, and BassHead won because they have the loudest, most awesome, & loyal fans Miami has to offer. ;) This was one of the best parties Ive been to in years, and a huge win for BassHead - anything people say to attempt to detract from it is a personal insult to Juan and the entire family. #bassheadovereverything /rant
