Okay, so due to my pending wrist surgeries, Jedi told me it was cool that of we celebrated his big bash in Feb. However, next Friday, 1/23 this crazy, lovable, tiring, ball of love will be ONE!!!! Im sad, but also amazed. Im proud. For those of you who dont know Ryan & I very well, we had our first baby,Isaiah, at 19. We managed to both graduate college; we were so young and busy that the difficulty and responsibility of parenting didnt pale in comparison until we embarked on it without grandparents just a floor up from us and my big sister and her boyfriend (now husband) to play and entertain him. We have have ALMOST done this just the two of us! With lots of love from friends and family and support, we have kept this crazy baby alive, not killed one another, and also nurtured our first love Isaiah. As I tell Isaiah frequently...weve grown up together kiddo. Thank you Sue Taylor, Gary Shrum, Renee Quaintance for teaching and us and supporting us then. And Angela Huddle Shrum for the example you have been to me for the past 4 years. Thank you especially for being a bright spot in Grandpas day, everyday. This has truly been the a perfect portrayal of the cycle of life this past year for our blended fabulous family.
