Okay, so, earlier i shared a status from my roommate about the ongoing and worsening events happening in Ferguson, Missouri. What is sad to see is that a media cover up mounted by the police and others holding power in the area over the citizens there are succeeding in their blackouot of an incredibly important event regarding our civil rights as citizens, and not only highlights the racial turmoil in the area but also the extent to which many are willing to go to hide it, and how our apathy as a nation is helping it vanish all to quickly from the public eye and mind. Keep conversations open, keep your eyes on what is happening in Ferguson, because this affects you, and I and everyone else you know. When a local police force is equipped with more gear than a company in overseas conflict, then you should know that you are witnessing the gears turning in very big things in our country. Those things can either end the downward spiral or quicken it, and we as a nation have allowed for the latter.
