Okay so far most of our houses were full of new tenants. The bluebirds that could not fit into the house from last years house, took up residence in front where we put the new houses (all the same sized hole), in a Bartlett pear tree. Go figure! but theyre happy and they raised a brood. Shortly after the bluebirds couldnt fit their old house, it was quickly taken by some Acadian Flycatchers. They raised their babies quickly and I enjoyed watching every minute. Then we had quintuplets hidden in a huge pot planter that the neighbor gave us. They were so quiet and their parents would often seek refuge under The bush below Mother Mary. They were 4 baby red headed Pipkins birds. Like a finch only with a red head. Meanwhile squirrels have been chewing the birdhouse holes larger. That was May. Now all the blackbirds are gathering, thousands of them.
